Biography

A native of Southern California, Dennis Baxter has garnered numerous awards from Associated Press and United Press International for Best Newscast, Best Documentary and Best Public Affairs Programming, as well as first Place awards for Best Commercial. Production.

 

After ten years as News Director and Morning anchor for Tribune Broadcasting at the California State Capitol, Dennis returned from Sacramento to his hometown and is currently News Director and Morning Anchor at Southern California's NBC Radio news radio station, KCAA in San Bernardino. He is also Host of "Inland Empire Alive" on KCSB TV3 Television, where he interviews government officials and industry leaders of the "Inland Empire."

 

In addition to Production Executive and announcer for "CruiseTrends" radio program heard on the Genesis Communications Radio Network, recent on-camera appearances include the role of a reporter on CBS Television's "CSI-Crime Scene Investigation", and HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm", as an airline pilot.

 

As a writer, photographer, and voice-over artist Dennis has produced a number of Corporate Training and Sales Presentations for industry leaders in Southern California.

 

Active in his community, Dennis is an appointee to the San Bernardino Building Commission, as well as President of the Perris Hill Neighborhood Association. and Co-chair of the Mayor's Fourth of July Parade Committee. He will also provide the on-camera narration for Channel 3 coverage of the Parade for the third year in a row.

 

In 2006 Dennis Baxter was elected to the San Bernardino City Council for a four year term of office.
